Final Blog

Over the semester, I really enjoyed reading A Streetcar Named Desire as well as the Tupac poems. Writing about the character of Blanche was really interesting to me because it made me go deeper into her character's flaws. The Tupac poems were really interesting because I had not realized that he was more than just a rapper. He really tried to write in a way that spoke to the public. I didn't really like the short stories as much as I liked the novels. Some of the stories were really hard to understand which made me not pay as much attention to them.

comparing experiences

After reading the link about an experience of The Watchmen, I have concluded that I had a somewhat similar experience. I too am a skeptic when it comes to graphic novels and comic books. Growing up, I was never a big fan of them and still find them hard to read. I did however enjoy The Watchmen, as it was very interesting and contained a lot of symbolism. I am very excited to see it in theaters.
